The 26th Annual Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon, honoring successful female entrepreneurs as well as supporters of women’s economic development, will begin at 12 noon.
Price’s fragrances and lotions are a favorite among celebrities like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Erykah Badu, Rosie Perez and Halle Berry. Products are sold at nine company-owned stores, including its flagship store in Harlem. Price is the author of a book, Success Never Smelled So Sweet, and is a philanthropist who serves on the boards of the National Women’s Business Council and the Foundation for Advancement of Women Now, founded by Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute.
In addition to the awards luncheon, conference attendees will benefit from advice, connections and networking in several ways:
• Contract Connections, pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings between certified WBEs and corporate and government purchasing decision-makers.
• Workshops and roundtable discussions with practical advice from business experts addressing the current issues facing women business owners today.
Tickets are $225 for women business owners and $250 for others on or before August 31, 2012; thereafter, tickets become $300 for everyone, in advance and at the door. This fee includes access to all conference events. Individual tickets for the Women’s Forum Breakfast, Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon and Women’s Business & Buyers Mart are $125 each for everyone.
