The Fuel Up for Father Fred event serves to gather food good and personal care item donations for The Father Fred Foundation of Traverse City. In return for the donation at either location, the donor will receive a free propane fill on his/her barbeque propane tank. Anyone wishing to support The Father Fred Foundation may bring 3 or more food or personal care items to the Crystal Flash Energy office located at 896 West Blue Star Highway in Traverse City or Rentals Unlimited located at 3100 N US 31 S.
The Father Fred Foundation serves Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau counties by providing food, clothing, household goods, and financial assistance to families in need. Joan O’Neill, Marketing Manager for The Father Fred Foundation stated, “We are so excited to have businesses so willing to help support us.”
