The largest festival dedicated to Hip Hop in the southeastern United States, A3C is a 2-day, 3-night event held in Atlanta. Now in its 8th year, past A3C festival events have attracted thousands of people who come each year to witness the Hip Hop spectacle comprised of show-stopping artist performances that have included Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Big K.R.I.T., Jean Grae, J. Cole, The Juice Crew, Little Brother, MURS, Yelawolf, Wale, Pill, Freddie Gibbs, 9th Wonder, M.O.P., and GrandWizzard Theodore. What began in 2005 as a small showcase for independent artists around the country has now evolved into a national platform for established and independent Hip Hop artists alike to perform, network, learn and build. A3C is an all ages, family-friendly event and a well-rounded showcase of Hip Hop music and culture.
Also celebrating eight years of supporting underground and unsigned Hip Hop artists in urban communities, TRIBES Magazine will provide advertising and media coverage for A3C. This year’s festival will be extra special, as hundreds of performances are being planned by artists including Paul Wall, Freeway, Tech N9ne and 9th Wonder, Phil Adé, as well as producer showcases, DJ competitions, Cypher emcee showcase and competitions, an a short film festival. TRIBES Magazine's street team will be at many of the events conducting interviews and reporting top A3C news.
A3C will also present the Pro-Audio Experience in partnership with the Steel Magnolia Group from October 11-13, 2012 in the Masquerade. The Pro-Audio Experience is a must for any aspiring artist and features an expanded vendor market, panel discussions, equipment demonstrations, competitions, radio broadcasts, live performances and a presentation by Young Guru, Jay-Z's touring DJ and standby engineer.
