“We were at our previous location for 33 years, and we feel it is important to let our customers and the community know where we are now,” said Wesley Gregg, general manager at Gaudin Ford. “Instead of just a day to celebrate our grand opening, we decided to dedicate an entire week and really show our appreciation to everyone that was involved with this move, our customers who stood behind us and our employees who made it happen.”
The focal point of the grand opening week will be Barrett-Jackson’
“Each year the show gets bigger and bigger,” said Gregg. “Having Steve Davis and Gary Bennett from Barrett-Jackson chose their favorite car is a huge honor, and that is very special to the local car clubs. We want to make this year the biggest yet and continue to grow from there.”
Entry for this celebration of Las Vegas’ car culture is free for all attendees and participants who wish to display their vehicles. The event will include Barrett-Jackson giveaways, entertainment, food and beverages, with appearances from the Fuku Burger truck and the Hawaiian Snow Cone truck. There will also be a raffle. The proceeds generated from it will directly benefit the Keep Memory Alive Foundation, which raises awareness and funds in support of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health’s work towards enhanced treatments and research of neurocognitive disorders.
“Keep Memory Alive is an amazing charity that we partner with each year, and giving back to the community is something that we are very proud to say that we do,” said Gregg. “Seeing all the great work that they do and what they accomplished makes it all worthwhile.”
The week of events will begin with a VIP cocktail party for close friends of the dealership and will be catered by the Four Seasons, followed by Employee Appreciation Night on September 11 for all of Gaudin Ford’s employees and their families. The Sin City Wings truck will be on hand, as well as a photo booth. There will also be face painting, balloon animals and a bounce house for the children.
“Nothing is possible without the dedication and support from all of our employees,” said Gregg. “Each and every day, they do an amazing job and what better way to repay them than to dedicate a special night to them? We all think of ourselves as an extended family at Gaudin Ford, and it is always a pleasure to meet the true families behind our fantastic employees.”
To keep with the spirit of appreciation, Gaudin Ford will hold Customer Appreciation Night the next night on September 12. The Sin City Wings truck will also be on hand for this night.
“Our customers are so important to us and customer satisfaction is our No. 1 priority,” said Gregg. “We want to show our appreciation by having a whole night just for them.”
This night will also double as a free Shred-It Party sponsored by DuPont, in which customers can destroy any sensitive documents they no longer need. Face painting, balloon animals and a bounce house will also be available for the children.
Nostalgia Night and Performance Night will follow on September 13 and September 14, respectively. The former will be a showcase of classic automobiles, including Ford Model Ts and Model As, while the latter will feature the Mustang Club of Las Vegas.
