Orange County Novastars Call Saddleback College Home

Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Orange County Ca- The Orange County Novastars are creating an exciting buzz in the OC sports scene. Many residents are recently finding out about this new organization that is a proud member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). Today, the team was informed by Saddleback College school officials that the Novastars were approved to call their Mission Viejo campus home for the 2012-13 season. Team co-owner and General Manager Al Smith had this to say in an interview shortly after receiving the news "We couldn't be happier that Saddleback came to this decision. We had other options that we considered, but this is where we really wanted to be. We would like to thank the school for allowing us to play out of their facility, and we look forward to building a great relationship for the future."

Novastar Basketball is not only about basketball. They are a community action partner that seeks to help non-profit, and community help organizations.  Their mission is to raise awareness, funding, and support for these organizations locally through their community support division, Novastar Foundation. Team co-owner and COO Glenn Wilkerson recently stated "Novastar Basketball is going to be deeply rooted in our community. We have already partnered with some amazing Orange County community partners like WE ROCK and I Believe In Miracles.
