“It’s been great for us as a practice to see this process all the way through,” says Virginia Women’s Center Managing Partner, Dr. Peter Zedler. “We have always been dedicated to serving the Hanover community and our entire team came together for this project. It is especially significant to be able to see the house from our office at Memorial Regional Medical Center.”
Jimmy and Lori Goodman and their three children will be receiving the keys to their brand new home next week. The Goodman’s emphasize that owning a Habitat home will be a profound improvement to their living situation and opportunity for their family; they are excited and grateful for the generosity of everyone involved.
This will be the 41st home that Hanover Habitat for Humanity has constructed, and they have ambitious plans to build six more homes for other hard working and deserving Hanover families in the next 12 months. Since 1993, Virginia Women’s Center has provided much-needed health care to the women of Hanover County and is proud to partner with Hanover Habitat for Humanity.
