A four piece power blues band with female vocals leading the way, our goal is to infuse happiness, peace and a feeling of joy through our musical sounds. El Padrino, also known as BLP, was born in Panama City, Republic of Panama and was brought to the United States at an early age where he resided in Fayetteville, NC. BLP discovered that he could change his voice and impersonate various artists. He began to write song after song and came up with the idea of putting different formats of music together with strong Latino influences. Being Panamanian, he decided to work on the famous Dancehall Reggae voices such as Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Mad Cobra, El General, Shaggy, Super Cat, etc. Not only is BLP able to change his voice and style but he is lyrically sound in both Spanish and English. BLP has had the honor of being one of the few, if not the only Panamanian rapper, to obtain permission to remix classic Salsa songs from El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico, and Tito Puente Jr. He was also named the most versatile latino artist by the NW Phoenix and is one of the Salsa lyricists for Victor Vega, established Salsa Vocalist in NY. He has the ability to do Dancehall Reggae, Reggaeton, Merengue Hiphop, Soca, and his signature style “SalsaRap.” Final 7, in existence since early 2012, consists of some of the top musicians and vocalists in Long Island. Cynthia and Gloria, our two female lead vocalists, have years of experience behind them and they happen to be sisters from a musical family of ten children. Mike, our male lead vocalist has been singing since the ripe old age of 6; influenced by some of the greats of the 70’s he came into his own with Pegasus back in the 80’s, where he played the Long Island circuit for 13 years. He can also add a little piano and trombone to his talents. Our guitar player, Gasper, brings strength and versatility to the band. As a vet of the New York music scene, Gasper has seen and done it all. Covering hard core leads or melodic rhythms is second nature for him. A musician since the age of 5, our drummer, Logan, is also fluent in trumpet and violin. John can also pluck some great bass lines across the musical spectrum, from heavy metal to country and everything in between. With years of experience in the circuit, John is the perfect fit to our rhythm section. Our keyboard player JC has fingers of magic. JC is a vet of the New York music scene and has played with some top bands. Please call Mike at Poseidon Adventure for bookings. Jim Fetzer is a true friend of rock and roll. With his military background and strong spiritual faith, Jim is not afraid of anything … What most don’t know about Jim is that he is the great grandnephew of broadcast/ radio industry pioneer and icon John E. Fetzer. John Fetzer was a radio and broadcast executive best known for his long-standing ownership of the Detroit Tigers (from 1961 through the early 1980s). Born in New York he also grew up in Puerto Rico, listening to all kinds of music and was influenced by the diversity of genres you can only be exposed to in a city such as New York and Puerto Rico. Although with little to no experience, Victor made his debut at The Puerto Rican festival in the summer of 2000 in Newark New Jersey where he opened for Viti Ruiz. This proved to be a learning process since Victor dove into the world of entertainment with no guidance and direction but quickly learned the ins and outs of the industry. Since then Victor has performed in many, many venues events such as lounges, festivals, network television, radio appearances and live shows. Victor had the privilege to perform in events with entertainers of different genres from Latin to Dance. He has performed on stage along with many well known and renowned artists from all genres. Over the years Victor has learned to master his craft with the help of a few individuals who advised, guided and gave him tips and pointers to help him tap into his potential.
