Aug. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Cyber diplomacy refers to the professional practice and methods of conducting diplomacy and international relations with the help of and on topics related to the cyber domain and the Internet in general. The introduction of this practice is bringing about changes to foreign relations.

The cyber diplomat plays a substantial role in developing cyber work programs or cyber statecraft initiatives, as well as designing and leading the implementation of related programs and activities.  The cyber diplomat works to continuously evolve a cyber strategy that is aligned with the overall direction of the country and the relationships needed to achieve our strategic objectives.

This training leverages the Cyber Commander's eHandbook version 3 and is delivered by Technolytics in a distance learning format as well as in traditional and virtual classrooms.  In the past six months the Cyber Diplomacy program has been delivered 4 times due to demand.  This clearly indicates the need and interest in this important topic.
