Here is a portion of Jennifer’s scholarship application:
“I started in the car business almost 13 years ago as a service cashier. We had no crms, no texting; we couldn't send pictures of cars from our phones. (Whatever did we do?) Then the cell phones started changing and so did people’s web use. I have been through some of the major changes in the car business. I decided to jump on the Internet bandwagon pretty early in the game. I have had the luxury of working at the some of the top dealerships in our area. The internet really has been my niche. I was given an opportunity 2 years ago to become the Internet Director for Auffenberg Dealer Group. A dealership that was ready to take it to the next level with internet business and we not just talking about leads! Innovative management has led to the opportunity to try new things and get ongoing training on the ever changing market. This is where I first encountered Truecar (or Zag old habits are hard to break) Over the past 2 years I have watched our Truecar business grow and become more successful and developed a great working relationship with my reps (p, b, and e) Gotta love them!! I have attended local classes and webinars concerning new trends. But I have never had the opportunity to attend something of this magnitude. I think it would be a great experience to learn from others in my field, the things that I could bring back and implement in my dealership would be huge.”
TrueCar® is happy to give Jennifer the opportunity to attend AutoCon 2012.
