Cooking In Umbria, Italy’s Green Heart

COOKEURO offers the ultimate experience of Italian cuisine and culture in a week-long program that is the perfect combination of cooking, dining, shopping, and touring in the Umbrian countryside.
There are five cooking classes, hands-on, in English, emphasizing Umbrian and regional cuisine. The instructor, Silvia Maccari, is an olive oil expert, author of a book of family recipes and owner of Camilla in Cucina. Following each class, guests share the prepared meal, accompanied by the appropriate wines. A certificate is awarded.
Guests stay at the charming Agriturismo Borgovivo, a recently restored 19th century farmhouse, in the medieval village of Torre del Colle, The cooking classes are held at the property.
The cost, all includive, except airfare, from/to Spoleto, is $3,200 per person, shared room; $550 single room supplement.
