Aug. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Giggleberries on line retailer of men’s underwear is experiencing an increase in the sale of men’s socks, further supporting reports that the UK retail market grew by 0.3% in July and that shoppers are helping walk Britain out of a recession.

Men’s underwear has always been considered a good indicator of what the economy is doing as men tend to bypass purchasing new underwear when times are difficult and people are having to tighten the purse strings. None essential luxury items such as designer undies and socks seem to be the least of peoples needs when times are tough and so when their sales are up it usually points to the fact that men have more disposable income to spend, or at least feel they have.

Giggleberries believes these observations seem to be consistent with the growth in the UK retail economy in Q2 of this year and the fact that the sale of men’s socks have increased at their online store, particularly the more luxurious brands such as HOM.

Giggleberries have recently expanded their collection to meet the demand for men’s socks with the addition of more luxury items made from bamboo, silk and cashmere, which offer a decadent choice for the discerning and fashion conscious man. There could be no greater mark of luxury than that of socks made from cashmere or silk and would be considered as a real treat when buying them for either yourself or another.
