“We are proud to introduce our new line of light bars. The Challenger and Challenger Duo uphold Whacker Technologies philosophy of providing full featured, quality products at affordable prices regardless of whether the user is a police officer or construction worker,” said Dr. Herschel Kessler, Whacker Technologies founder and CEO.
With a newly designed body style, the Challenger series features include Generation III LEDs with OX optics, either a dedicated or integrated arrowstick with 11 pre-programmed flash patterns, 20 pre-programmed flash patterns, LED takedown and alley light with steady-burn or flashing mode, front and rear disabling through hardwire configuration, and cruise mode. Additionally, they are fully programmable to allow for paired lighthead programming.
The Challenger LED Light Bar contains 6 warning modules along the front of the bar and the back features of warning/directional modules. In additional, the takedowns and alley lights now use LED technology as opposed to traditional halogen bulbs. On the corners, there are 2 modules each containing 12 1-watt LEDs.
The Challenger Duo LED Light Bar introduces an entirely new concept to 360 degree coverage. The front of the bar remains standard but the rear of the bar and corners double the warning ability with two rows of modules in the same amount of space. The rear contains an upper level warning system and the designated lower level traffic arrowstick that civilians and other motorists are familiar with.
The Challenger and Challenger Duo are available for purchase directly from Whacker Technologies or online at Emergency City. The Challenger full-size light bar is available for purchase for $999.99. The Challenger Duo full-size light bar is available for $1699.99.
