PRLog - Aug. 15, 2012 - AYR, U.K. -- Ayrshire, Scotland, 15 August 2012--Champagne GH Mumm Ladies Night at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday turned into a Tartan Special, with five of the seven winners being trained in Scotland.

Uplawmoor-based Jim Goldie led the way, saddling Glenluji (14/1) to win the Gas Sure & James Frew 101 Year Handicap. Jockey Graham Lee timed his run to perfection, heading the 9/4 favourite Cheeky Wee Red well inside the last to win by a length and a half.

Graham Lee (pictured above) also rode Goldie’s second winner Forrest Flyer (4/1) to land the QTS Group Handicap by a length from Vittachi (9/2).

Ian Semple also saddled a double, courtesy of Argentine (9/1) in the jockeyjan.co.uk Jan Wilson Memorial Apprentice Handicap, ridden by Shirley Teasdale, and Burnwynd Boy (4/1), the mount of PJ McDonald, in the Unison’s Ayrshire & Arran Health Branch Handicap.

Keith Dalgleish is a trainer in scintillating form, and his King Of Windsor (9/4 fav) just got the better of Watt’s Up Son (8/1) to win the Champagne GH Mumm Blanc De Blanc Handicap.

Biggest priced winner of the night was 50/1 chance Bee Brave. Trained by Sharon Watt and ridden by Paddy Aspell, who won the Champagne GH Mumm Cuvee R. Lalou/E.B.F. Maiden from Orion’s Hero (12/1).
