(LOS ANGELES, CA—Wednesday, August 15, 2012) Today, Well-Play is proud to announce the addition of T.H.E. (To Help Everyone) Clinic, Inc., Veg-It-Up Restaurant and 102.3 KJLH Radio as community partners for the Keep Move’N program.

These organizations are helping to raise awareness about the program, which officially launches on Saturday, September 8, 2012. From 4 p.m.- 8 p.m., over 2000 youth will descend upon The Tabernacle (located at 321 N. Eucalyptus Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90301) for a day of interactive games, healthy food, fitness and dancing.

When asked about the new partnerships, Well-Play Founder, Denise Williams said: “I am proud to have T.H.E. Clinic, Veg-It-Up and KJLH on board. Each has demonstrated an unparalleled dedication to health and wellness in the community, focusing their efforts on children and their families in communities that often fly under the radar but are disproportionately impacted by obesity and diabetes prevention and management. In addition, they continue to lend their voices to educating families on the importance of healthy living—making this alliance a true asset to the Keep Move’N program.”

T.H.E. Clinic, Inc., located at 3834 S. Western Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90062 has provided high quality healthcare and education resources to the Los Angeles community for over three decades. On event day, representatives will offer some of those same resources by hosting an interactive game station and conducting diabetes and high blood pressure screenings inside the Keep Move’N Wellness Village which is FREE to the community. To learn more about T.H.E. Clinic visit http://www.theclinicinc.org.

Veg-It-Up Grill and Nutrition Center located at 1100 W. Florence Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90301, will serve as the official food vendor for Keep Move’N. The restaurant has become a household name providing vegan/vegetarian dishes in the community since 2010. On event day, Veg-It-Up’s mobile food truck will provide nutritious meals, healthy recipe tips and health food resources to parents. More information about Veg-It-Up can be found at http://www.vegitup.com

102.3 KJLH has been a reputable news source for communities across Los Angeles for over 30 years. Well-Play is happy to have the station’s support in promoting the event through its multimedia platform. On-air commercials and e-marketing blasts featuring the entertainment portion of the event called the Dance Revolution Lounge are already in rotation. Ticket give-a-ways will also take place on-air in the weeks leading up to the event. The ad features hip-hop dance enthusiast and entertainer, Tommy the Clown (Rize), who will serve as M.C. for the event. His call to action for kids to submit their videos for a chance to compete and win $1,000 is quickly gaining momentum. To qualify, kids can visit www.well-play.net and click the Keep Move’N logo. There, more information on the video challenge can be found. Only six (6) dance crews will be chosen to compete.

The Dance Revolution Lounge will also feature signature Keep Move’N choreography which can be found on the Keep Move’N “Move Tube” www.youtube.com/movetube2012. A live performance from new electro-dance group Liberty Movement will move the crowd. Additional performances and appearances are to be announced.

Community partners will also get in on the fun by participating in our virtual 30-Day Scavenger Hunt. This activity will drive traffic to our partner websites where kids can discover daily fit facts, while also learning what healthy choices exist within their neighborhoods. Answer forms will be submitted on event day and the winner will receive an IPOD.

Advance tickets are on sale now at www.well-play.net and Veg-It-Up. For more information on the Keep Move’N program and how you can get involved log-on to www.well-play.net. All press and sponsor related inquiries should be forwarded to info@divinebrownmedia.com or call (818) 533-8463.
