Follow on Google News | Catholic Charities of West Tennessee Announces Grants to 10 OrganizationsCatholic Charities of West Tennessee announced that grants have been awarded to 10 ecumenical, non-profit organizations throughout West Tennessee.
The grants were awarded by CCWTN’s Jackson Deanery Development Committee (JDDC) and support ecumenical, non-profit organizations located outside of Shelby County. The JDDC is comprised of volunteer representatives from eight Catholic parishes in the Jackson Deanery. Funds for the JDDC Grants are collected by the 47 parishes of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, which includes all of the 21 counties west of the Tennessee River. “We are pleased to be able to pass along these proceeds, as well as the good wishes of the people of our Diocese to these 10 worthy organizations” This year’s grantees are: • Agape House - Martin, TN • Fayette Cares - Somerville, TN • Helping Hand Ministry - Union City, TN • Hope Ministries - Lexington, TN • Life Choices Pregnancy Center - Camden, TN • Matthew 25:40 - Dyersburg, TN • The Milan Mustard Seed - Milan, TN • Project Help of Henry County - Paris, TN • RIFA - Jackson, TN • We Care Ministries - Martin, TN About Catholic Charities of West Tennessee Catholic Charities of West Tennessee is the social services arm of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis.
