The influence of her bronze sculptures have spread across the globe - the popularity in Asia is now being felt in Miami. Miami has become an important epicenter in the art community, especially felt during the Art Basel Miami Beach showcase. The powerful presence of her artwork is cherished by art collectors both locally and internationally.
In addition to private art collectors, her work is embraced by a major commercial real estate development company. In 2010 Beatriz was commissioned to create a 23 feet ( 7 meters) tall monument in front of the Plaza Wanya, Pudong in Shanghai, China. There has always been a strong connection between art and architecture. This incredible bronze monument is titled Harmony of The People, this is seen by millions and has sparked a daily dance gathering around the piece. The public feels compelled to celebrate and demonstrate the living imagery of harmony and community.
Locally, the trend of fine art in retail spaces has been utilized by Turnberry Associates at their Aventura Mall. They have incorporated a world-class art collection amongst an indoor retail shopping center - intertwining the presence of art installations and sculptures in America’s second most visited Mall.
Beatriz believes that art should be experienced and interact with the public. She is excited about South Florida real estate development companies that include a consciousness for art.
The Miami art scene and South Florida art collectors is made up of a diverse international crowd. This is mainly because of the demographic of the area and proximity to South America. Beatriz is originally from Argentina and feels comfortable in Miami, where she creates her bronze sculptures. She believes that all people share a commonality and this is expressed in her artwork.
