“We are excited about the new Pennsylvania Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) program, which provide opportunities for local students to attend Carson Long as day students,” said COL Matthew Brown, President of Carson Long Military Academy. “This program enables students to apply for a scholarship to attend participating public or nonpublic school. Carson Long is an approved Opportunity Scholarship organization”
The scholarships are funded by businesses that make contributions to scholarship organizations in exchange for tax credits. Qualifying Perry County students who meet admission standards at Carson Long may be eligible to receive scholarships up to $8,500 contingent upon the contributions made by businesses.
The OSTC program is for low-to-moderate income Pennsylvania residents from “low-performing”
