The MAiZE at Confreda’s opens September 15, 2012, with a special day of games, prizes, and a special appearance by Samboni, the Providence Bruins mascot! This 10-foot-high corn maze is an interactive attraction with learning activities for kids, challenges for adults, and FUN for all ages! The MAiZE is carved out of a cornfield the size of 6 football fields, and its design incorporates the state of Rhode Island with special graphics celebrating Confreda’s 90th anniversary. All of this space allows for a full list of games including scavenger hunts, specialty passport tours, and CornText, a system that sends you clues once you find a number in the maze to text. You don’t just tour the MAiZE…you experience it.
The MAiZE is a new and exciting part of Confreda’s annual Fall Fun Fest. Weekends from mid-September through the end of October, our MAiZE, hayrides, and kiddie rides will be open from 10am-6pm (last ticket sold at 5pm). From 11am-6pm you can enjoy the outdoor food court full of carnival treats --popcorn, doughboys, candy apples, and more!
The MAiZE is open for parties and school tours by reservation only. Whether it be a private party, corporate training event, or a fundraising event, the MAiZe offers a unique setting and activity to bring people together for some good, old-fashioned fun.
