BACKGROUND

The ISO 22301 BCMS is a framework for building business resilience capabilities to effectively respond to unexpected business disruptions, ensuring safeguards are in place to protect the interests of key stakeholders, as well as an organization’s reputation, brand and value. It enables an organization to cope with a situation arising from unplanned IT and telecom outages, data breaches involving the loss or theft of confidential information, cyber attacks using malware, denial of service, adverse weather (windstorms, tornadoes, flooding, snow or drought) and interruption of utility supplies such as water, gas, electricity or waste disposal.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The webinar targets those from management level such as an executive manager, senior manager, head of a business unit, project manager; manager responsible for HR, supply chain, risk management, emergency responses, or procurement. The ISO 22301 is for management level to determine the business continuity strategy in advance based on in-depth risk evaluation, and then to come out with feasible risk countermeasures and business continuity plans (BCPs) through the continual improvement cycle Plan-Do-Check-Act to ensure business resilience under extreme circumstances like natural disaster, human error or technical failure.
