KaiNexus software is based upon the proven improvement principles of “kaizen,” which focuses on identifying and implementing a large number of small, low-cost, low-risk ideas that come primarily from front-line staff. Kaizen is a core part of the “lean” management philosophy that has been embraced by leading healthcare systems around the world and the concepts are presented more fully in Graban’s book Healthcare Kaizen: Engaging Front-Line Staff in Sustainable Continuous Improvements.
