New Campaign to Combat Teen Violence in America

Planned Life™ announces Today That it Has Launched a Campaign to Combat Teen Violence

PRLog - Aug. 14, 2012 - CHICAGO -- The Planned Life™ Program helps students develop a plan for academic and social success

Chicago, Illinois – Planned Life™ (http://www.plannedlife.com) announced today that it has launched a campaign to help combat teen violence.   Planned Life™ is a program designed to help schools, churches, neighborhoods and community groups put an end to teen violence within their community.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, homicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-24 year olds.  However a recent study of the Effectiveness of Universal School-Based Programs for the Prevention of Violent and Aggressive Behavior states that school-based programs to prevent violence have cut violent behavior among high school students by 29%.

Planned Life™ is a researched based program designed to help teens immediately begin preparing for their academic and social success.  Planned Life™ will address teen violence and bullying at their cores.  Not only will the teen walk away with a renewed outlook on life but they will walk away with a Life Plan!  Founders of the Planned Life™ hope to create a movement based on the theory that when a teen has a rock solid plan for their future, that teenager will realize how much he/she has to lose.
