Starudust International TV Revolutionizes Television Infomercial Business

Aug. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Stardust International TV, with studios in Southern California, announced an entirely new model for the production and media airing of television infomercials.

It is well-known in the industry that the most effective way to sell products and services on television is in the form of the “half hour” infomercial (its actually 28 and ½ minutes long). The major issue that prevents most product owners from using infomercials is that it typically costs from $75,000 to $500,000 just for a quality infomercial production. And when you add a media test of between $20,000 to-$50,000 or more to air the infomercial - It gets to be a pretty pricy situation.

Here is how our process works, and how we can create and air a quality infomercial at such an effective price. The infomercial will be produced in our Studios in San Bernardino where we produce our national television programs. The weather is mild year round (well it gets kind of hot in the afternoon in summer but we are near beaches and mountains) so we can shoot in both the studio and on location. We have all the cameras, lighting, editing equipment that sits un-used when we are not producing our national shows- so it’s a sunk cost. We use the same producers, camera crew and editors that produce our network shows, and if we need to have location shots to augment our studio shooting, we have pretty much unlimited options here in Southern California.

There are a few rules however.  First, you must come to Southern California and be here when the infomercial is shot. Second, you must be prepared to pay the remaining $57,000 once you get here, see our facilities, and meet with our production team. There is a $3,000 prepayment required to produce the script, which you will approve, but that is the only cost till you arrive at our studios. The only other possible cost is if you wish to have someone participate in the infomercial that is supplied by you- for example a product representative or celebrity etc. and that is your cost.
