Follow on Google News | Sales Education Foundation hosts fifth annual faculty programPartnership successfully provides tools for aligning university graduates with jobs.
“Because they have skills that align with industry need, our students are fortunate enough to have multiple job offers before they graduate,” said Jeanne Frawley, SEF’s Executive Director. “This program helps them sort through the options to select the right fit.” Representatives from schools such as Auburn University, Ohio University, and Winona State University attended the program, joining the ranks of over 50 schools that have provided students with the job selection tool. Said one participant, “I found it extraordinarily educational and only wish I’d done it years earlier.” Through a partnership with Chally Group Worldwide, SEF provides universities who prepare students for sales careers access to individual assessment results, highlighting which of six specialty areas is the best fit for the student. Those incorporating the tool into the curriculum report 90% average job placement, compared to less than 50% for all US college graduates. Seventy three universities are recognized by SEF annually for their preparation of top candidates and attention to relevant sales research. Those schools, along with others building programs, are invited to participate in a program partnership with Chally.
