Aug. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Art Deco sterling silver tea set. Made by Christofle, C 1925.

Comprises 1 tea kettle with hinged cover on stand, 1 teapot with hinged cover, 1 hot water jug, 1 cream jug, and 1 sugar with cover. All pieces have faceted sides.

Bracket handles mounted to ivory. Stepped covers with ivory finial. Rectangular and slanted spouts. Bracket feet on tea kettle stand. The tea kettle and stand are silver plate. All other pieces sterling silver. A fine service that captures the novelty and daring of Art Deco.

Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition. A delicate and tawny patina.
