With all of these concerns in mind, Cankerboy.com was created late in 2011 to test the products and fight the misconceptions about canker sores and mouth ulcers. Writer, researcher and website runner Joe Scott, who has dealt with canker sores since he was a child, created the site to help people find solutions for their pain, connect with others, and provide a humorous antidote to the condition.
Now, Scott and Cankerboy.com are releasing an ebook to provide an answer to the most prevalent question associated with canker sores – how to get rid of them.
A follow-up to his previous book, Beyond the Pain, which demystifies and educates readers to the true causes of canker sores, the new book, No Pain, Your Gain, sets out to be the ultimate guide to canker sore treatments.
“The biggest thing I see around the web on canker sores is people asking how to get rid of them,” says Scott. “Ironically, there are hundreds of things they can do, you just have to scour the entire internet to find them all. With this ebook, I try to put it all in one place.”
The book breaks down the treatments into 11 categories and speaks to the benefits and disadvantages of each. It then gives a little information about each product and its use – over 70 products in all – and even provides links embedded in the ebook to where readers can buy the products online.
“I wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to find and try new treatments,”
As an added bonus, a purchase of the ebook comes with a free Canker Tracker spreadsheet to help readers keep track of what works and what doesn’t. Scott says, “All a canker sore sufferer needs is one thing that they know works and they can turn to when they need it. This should make finding that one thing much easier.”
No Pain, Your Gain: The complete guide to canker sore treatments launches Tuesday, August 14th on Cankerboy.com
