PRLog - Aug. 13, 2012 - SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio author and resident, Eva Pohler, has launched the first book in her teen fantasy trilogy called The Gatekeeper’s Sons, about fifteen-year-old Therese who meets the twin sons of Hades—Hypnos, the god of sleep, and Thanatos, the god of death—while in a coma after her parents’ murder. She thinks she’s manipulating a dream, not kissing a god and rocking his world. Thanatos makes a deal with his father to go to the Upperworld to win Therese’s heart, but she can only go with him if she avenges the death of her parents.

For a limited time (now through September 15,) an ebook version of The Gatekeeper’s Sons, normally priced at $2.99, will be available to the public for half price at Smashwords at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/214128 using coupon code: MX62B.

If you love Greek mythology mixed with contemporary romance and high adventure, try The Gatekeeper’s Sons. You can preview the first eighty pages for free.

If you teach in San Antonio and the surrounding area and would like to schedule a free classroom visit, with your choice of Greek and Roman mythology slideshow presentation and/or toga party, please go to http://www.evapohler.com for details.

Eva Pohler writes fiction for both teens and adults and teaches writing and literature at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she lives with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and two rats.
