D. Allison Lee LLC Acquires SOHO Tech Training

Award winning professional organizer expands business to include technology training for small business owners

PRLog - Aug. 13, 2012 - UPPER MARLBORO, Md. -- Award winning organizer and founder of D. Allison Lee Professional Organizers, has recently acquired SOHO Tech Training, a company that teaches small office and home office entrepreneurs best technology practices. Lee is a Certified Professional Organizer® and productivity specialist who helps residential and business clients create clutter free environments. She established her organizing company in 2006 and, with this acquisition, is taking organization to the next level.

Lee’s mission is to make technology more accessible and understandable for users, and to show that technology can be a useful tool for entrepreneurs, rather than a source of angst and frustration. “Knowing the right technology tools to use can help entrepreneurs be more efficient and grow their businesses,” says Lee. “Technology is no longer a luxury. It can help a small company provide services like their larger counterparts, and is often a necessary resource for streamlining many business practices.”

Current SOHO Tech Training members seem to agree. Many have found their membership to be extremely beneficial to the success of their companies. Nanette Duffy, owner of Organized Instincts, said, "My membership gives me relevant and well-curated tech solutions. SOHO Tech Training is my not-so-secret weapon for timely, accurate, and actionable small business technology training.” One way the company lives up to that billing is by offering monthly “Coffee Talk” teleclasses on a variety of tech topics. Lee says that the classes are meant to be “less like lectures and more fun and interesting, like having coffee with a friend.”

In addition to her new venture, Lee continues to work with well-known industry partners. As well as being a Clutter Diet expert, Lee became one of the featured professionals with Rubbermaid’s Professional Organizer Squad program which helps consumers their find solutions to their organizing challenges. She is also a featured organization specialist with The Neat Company and, more recently, joined Unclutterer.com as a content writer.

In 2010, Lee was honored as the “Professional Organizer of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Organizers’ Washington DC Chapter (NAPO- WDC) and inducted in NAPO’s Golden Circle in 2011. Lee also has graduate and post-graduate degrees in Psychology and Education from New York University and in 2008, she became a Certified Professional Organizer®.
