Follow on Google News | Brannon Bates makes it all the way to the Whitehouse and even Mars"The Brando" hairstyle which began trending almost five years ago has now even been superimposed onto President Barack Obama.
By: Cherokee Productions Now even the President himself has flirted with the idea of getting the Brando hairstyle. It all started with the successful Nasa mission in which a rover called Curiosity was headed for Mars. The high intensity landing, coined, "Seven minutes of Terror" peaked such an interest with the public that Nasa hosted the landing event LIVE in a video stream from their website. This is where one of the Nasa team members was seen sporting "The Brando" hairstyle which President Obama later commented on having interest in possibly trying out the style for himself. You can listen to the President address the Nasa, JPL, team and congratulate them on the successful landing of Curiosity here: http://www.space.com/ President Obama said he "could not be more excited" about the car-size rover's mission to explore Mars' Gale Crater over the next two years. The rover touched down on the Red Planet Aug. 5 PDT to search for signs that Mars might have once had water and the other conditions thought necessary for life. NASA broadcast the presidential call live on NASA TV. "If in fact you do make contact with Martians, please let me know right away," President Obama said, "because I've got a lot of other things on my plate, but I suspect that will go to the top of the list, even if they're just microbes."
