The community event is sponsored by the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Donations may be dropped off at three locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley during regular business hours that include:

• Hollywood Hair & Beauty Supply, 4850 W. Flamingo Road., Suite 45, Las Vegas
• All Out Collision Center, 545 W. Sunset Rd., Henderson
AOLV’s mission is that, “No one should have to face cancer alone.” The nonprofit offers support groups for persons with cancer and their families; educational workshops
on cancer treatments and survivorship methods; healthy lifestyle programs centering on fitness, proper nutrition, stress management and creative expression and various resource referral services.
“We are very excited about this community event and the opportunity it provides to give clothes and household items to families facing the many challenges of dealing with cancer on a daily basis,” said Aynalem Workneh, a board member of NAWBO and owner of Hollywood Hair and Beauty Supply.
“One of the services we offer at Hollywood Hair and Beauty Supply is free wigs to people suffering from hair loss through illness or cancer treatment. We understand how important our hair is to us, and we want to make people fighting illnesses feel and look beautiful.”
All of AOLV’s services are free. Donations from the clothing drive will be distributed to local charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Shade Tree. AOLV is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors
Volunteers are needed for outreach programs, fundraising, administrative support and to present professional workshops and lectures dealing with all aspects of cancer, its treatments and family support.
