Scottsbluff Resident Writes Book to Benefit Prisoners

Prison ministry volunteer publishes book to benefit prisoners.
 
Aug. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- RINGGOLD, Ga. – Joy Dutton, a Scottsbluff resident, cares about those who have been incarcerated. Since 1980 she has devoted time to visiting inmates in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nebraska. Now she has written a book titled Peace in Prison in an effort to provide hope for those who are behind bars.

The book shares short anecdotes, thoughts, and Bible stories designed to give inmates peace about their situation and offer hope for their future once they get out of prison. Dutton has put her writing skills to good use penning articles for prison newsletters since 2004.

Joy is a retired piano teacher who taught for sixty years. During her career, Joy taught music at ten different high schools in the Southwest. Although officially retired, she still enjoys teaches piano lessons part time.

Peace in Prison is published by TEACH Services, and is available through the publisher’s Web site (http://www.TEACHServices.com), Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or local bookstores by request.
