Magna Mazda Brings Mazda MX-5 GT Concept Car to Salisbury Super Car Show

Aug. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The Mazda MX-5 GT Concept made headlines following its debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed last month and now Magna Mazda is giving Salisbury car enthusiasts the chance to see the unique vehicle this weekend.  

The Bournemouth Road-based dealership will display the unique concept car on its forecourt for all to see on Saturday 4 August, and exhibit the car alongside the full Mazda range at the annual Wilton House Super Car Show on Sunday 5 August.

Inspired by Mazda’s podium winning MX-5 GT race programme, race specialists, Jota Sport designed the MX-5 GT Concept as a road legal car.  The Concept car produces an impressive 205ps from its 2.0-litre Mazda petrol engine, which is mated to the MX-5’s standard manual six-speed gearbox.  The suspension has been uprated to improve handling, while a carbon front splitter, rear diffuser and boot spoiler enhance the car’s aerodynamics.
