Kinder Plume pre-school kids have fun at Janamashtami Camp
Gurgaon , 12th August, 2012: Kinder Plume preschool organised a unique Janamsahtami Camp for its little students where they tried their hand at pottery, dance and craft. The atmosphere was one of fun and frolic, and the toddlers were allowed to give free rein to their creative imagination.
In order to make things a little more exciting there were dance, art and fancy dress competitions as well in which children aged 2 to 10 took part enthusiastically. The piece de resistance of course was the Janamashtami Jhanki, which was especially beautifully made. Both the children and their parents had a relaxed and fun filled evening in which they got to celebrate one of our country’s greatest festivals. Janamsathtami being the birthday of Lord Krishna, the little ones and their parents enjoyed the sheer joyousness of this very special ands auspicious occasion.
Said, Divya J. Bawa, Director Kinder Plume School, “We believe that school is the first place where our children interact with and relate to the society that they belong to. It is therefore important that we take opportunities like these to gently introduce them to the glorious traditions of our land in a fun-way. In our school all festivals and important occasions are viewed as an opportunity to expose these young and tender minds to the sheer diversity and richness of pour traditions.”
