Ireland is gathering a world-wide following through his renewed recording career. He was a fixture on the European music scene in the 1970s and 80s performing both solo and with his band. Collaborations with a wide array of artists including BB King, Yes, Kayak, Sparks, Frans Ehlhart, Leonie Janssen, Herman van Veen, Sonja Kristina and many others.
Ireland is now working from the beautiful Gloucestershire heartlands, living life on the Severn Plains. The album 'A Twist Of Time' was recorded entirely in Stroud and features the cream of local musicians, including the aforementioned HitchHoppers, saxophonist Patsy Gamble, cellist Stephan Marlot and harmonica player Rufus Fry.
The sleeve design was produced by internationally acclaimed artist Ruben Ireland (rubenireland.co.uk)
Ireland will be launching a UK tour early in 2013 with a new album due in the Spring.
