Aug. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- H. Armen Moumjian began expressing his talent on canvas as a child prodigy at the age of four.  The recognition of his ability by his mother, an eminent musician and his uncle, an art professor, led to an appointment to the world famous Ecole Des Beaux-Arts of Paris.  He earned high honors in fine art.  He was then admitted to the prestigious Ecole Superieure Des Arts Moderne where he earned a Master in Fine Art, Architecture and Design.

His command of six languages, combined with design training and excellence enabled him to create structures of beauty throughout the Middle East and Europe.  He arrived in the United States in 1976, became a citizen and has since devoted himself full time to oil painting.  He has many patrons in Europe and the US.

His technique of oil painting uses methods of antiquity combined with modern impressionism, creating a unique blend of past and present rarely seen in art today. This show will present his renditions of walls in Venice and the unique Venetian landscape.

Gallery Zebu, a contemporary art gallery that was birthed in Atlanta in 1998 and closed after 9/11 and the recession of 2000, has reopened in June of this year claiming a presence on the Internet at www.galleryzebu.com.  Until the gallery has a permanent location, work will be shown on select dates at the Wagon Works Building, 1514 East Cleveland Avenue East Point, Georgia 30344.

The gallery is partnering with The Children’s Cross Connection to help those in the third world have means to meet their own medical and educational needs.  A minimum of twenty percent off the top of all work sold will go directly to work “helping developing nations meet the needs of their own children.”  Please take time to view the work of this organization at childrenscrossconnection.org.  Current donations will be used to further existing work in Ethiopia.  Financial donations as well as used cell phones will be accepted at this event and tax receipts issued for direct donations from the 501c3.

Atlanta Artists LiShinault and Mariana Depetris will also display their work.  Please call for further information.

“I prefer to limit what I say about art and what it represents since words are rarely adequate.”  Armand M
