PRLog - Aug. 10, 2012 - Looking for a dog or cat to take home along with some wonderful crafts to decorate their new home with? Look no further! Come to the Mississippi Craft Show in Trade Mart, Jackson in Mississippi!
From Mississippi Craft Show 2012:
The Show will support the work of Madison Ark, a local non profit, no‐kill animal rescue. As part of this support, the proceeds from the admission fee at the Show will be donated entirely to this cause. Also it is intended for Madison Ark to be in attendance during the show with dogs available for adoption who are in need of a loving forever home.
For two days in August the Trademart in Jackson, Mississippi will be filled with quality arts and crafts for sale, as well as craft demonstrations by the artists themselves! This show will showcase both new first time exhibitors and veteran artists and crafts people. With a wide range of talent and skills, there will be something for everyone at this event. Mississippi craftspeople will be displaying and selling their works of clay, leather, glass, fiber, metal, mixed media, wood, paper, and jewelry. Developed to promote Mississippi craftspeople, this show is a 100% handmade show and is not a flea market. Mississippi handmade means created by the hands of a Mississippi artisan.
Unlike any other show in the state, the Mississippi Craft Show is specifically designed to show-off the talent and creativity of Mississippi's home-grown craftspeople, and to help promote and support new and emerging crafts people.
This show is a fund raiser for Madison Ark. There will also be an adoption drive at the event. Come along and do your Christmas shopping, it's not too early! You can also take home a loving pet into a forever home. You will be helping to support your community when you buy local, hand made, and supporting a local charity at the same time - just by attending!
