LaBelle Job-Link Center Announces New Coordinator

Aug. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Elisabet Stadelman has joined Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. as the agency’s new Job-Link coordinator in LaBelle.  Stadelman will provide job search and resume assistance, skills training, and family strengthening assistance including referrals to other social service agencies in our area.  The LaBelle Job-Link is one of fourteen such centers operated by Goodwill (http://www.goodwillswfl.org) in Southwest Florida.

“We searched for a long time to find the right candidate for our LaBelle Job-Link position,” says Fred Richards, Goodwill’s vice president of career development services.  “We wanted someone with experience in social services, who was also fluent in Spanish.  Elisabet brings both of those qualities to the table and we believe will be a great asset to the community.”

Stadelman was most recently employed as a social worker at Argentina’s Instituto Nacional de Servicios Sociales para Jubilados y Pensionados (National Institute of Social Services for Retirees and Pernsioners).  There, she organized health prevention workshops, healthcare training, and activities for elderly citizens.  

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and a Masters in Gerontology from France’s Grenoble University and Argentina’s Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata.
