Ms. Sinclair writes in the Preface,“ In the creation of this book, I resolved to make it both a preparatory work and one that was as brief as possible. The reason for this has first and foremost been to encourage the study of history.”
With this goal in mind, the book provides accounts of the lives of Henry VIII and his successors - Edward VI, Lady Jane Grey, Mary I and Elizabeth I. Also provided are presentations of some key figures, a description of Tudor society, a chronology and a glossary. The ebook edition additionally includes a section with links to images and further information.
This prodigious amount of information is condensed into a mere 222 pages, making Henry VIII: His Life and Legacy both highly instructive and concise. It is therefore an ideal book for students and others just beginning their explorations of Tudor history who want to learn the most essential information in the briefest amount of time.
The book is available in both paperback and Kindle on Amazon.com, as well as in ePub, PDF and Mobi ebook formats at BookTango. It will also soon be available as an ebook at Barnes & Noble, Apple's iBookstore, Kobo, Sony, Scribd and BooksOnBoard.
