“Comprehensive Logistics has been a great local partner for us in the Kansas City market,” said Bill Hardy, vice president of asset management and leasing at BH Properties. “We were happy to be in a position to accommodate the growth of their successful operation.”
Steve Jaffe, executive vice president and general counsel, noted “The success of the GM brand over the last few years has been a boon to the Kansas City market and BH is proud to play even a minor role in the renewed success of the U.S. auto industry.”
Comprehensive Logistics’ Kansas City operations receive, sort and repackage parts from more than 130 suppliers to the GM assembly plant in Fairfax. Mark Long, who represented BH Properties, said that Comprehensive Logistics’ new lease marks a change in terms from being a series of one-year leases to now a long-term lease. When it opened in 2010, it had about 40 employees and took up less than half of its present warehouse space.
Building owner BH Properties was represented by Mark Long of Zimmer Real Estate Services while Comprehensive Logistics, Inc. was represented by Howard Moss of Omni Consulting and locally by Jack Allen of Karbank Real Estate Co..
