Academy of Design hosts the Discover Fashion Event Aug 15

Aug. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- On Aug 15th, 2012, Academy of Design Toronto (AODT) will be hosting Discover Fashion at its Davisville campus, located at 1835 Yonge Street, 2nd Floor. The event will run between 6:00pm - 8:00pm, where Fashion Program Chair Paula Shneer and other fashion faculty will cover new trends in the fashion industry, new developments in the Fashion Marketing & Merchandising curriculum and how to use social media and digital marketing effectively in fashion marketing campaigns.

During the event, Paula will reveal the new Fashion Design studio space at the Academy of Design. Fashion projects by Academy of Design’s Fashion Alumni will also be presented at Discover Fashion, such as Line Knitwear and Lauren Shirreff’s new Global Warming Tees t-shirt line.

This is a great opportunity to engage with professionals in the fashion industry and discover new career paths in fashion. Students and faculty will be present at the event to answer questions about the curriculum, course load, student life, and career opportunities in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing & Merchandising at AODT.
