Baltimore Fashion Week releases showcasing designers

Aug. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Baltimore Fashion Week organizers are entering production week for its 5th annual event. Within a week’s time, the production team will be welcoming designers of various technical backgrounds from all around the globe.

August 17, 2012, opening night of the 3-day production will commence with the winner of the organization's arts initiative the Emerging Designer Competition, Precious Evans.  Other showcasing designers include Akinyi Ragwar;  AntoinetteMarie; Bernice Morgan & Bertha Moniba; Christina Wade; Edward Harvey; Evette Monique Street; JMarie Creations; Michael Sierra; Mikki Taylor of Taylor Made Designs ; Janeen Brown of Sobiu, LLC; and L’Oreal Johnson.

The second night will feature designers Anjorin Babtunde Adeniran; Carmella Matthews; Carolyn Smith-Malone; Caryn Stockwell of Second Star Designs; Eric Randall, Jr.;  Frances Harley & Jojuan Gross; Ilka Harrigan; Intreya Edwards; Kevin Hall & Lateef Reid; Lanae Johnson; Nelson Arrington; and Sheila N. Scott.

The 5th production of Baltimore Fashion Week-end 2012 will conclude August 19, 2012 with designers Crystal Dombeck; Eileen Harberts; Faith Linton; Hyi Lim; JMarie Creations; Krystal Speight; Latonya Dickens; Monica Janowitz; Nikke Shanabrough; Patrise S. Carpenter; Tawaunna Jones; Terri Wood; and Will Chandler.


Baltimore Fashion Week is the annual preeminent fashion showcase celebrating the arts through fashion by highlighting emerging and established local, national and international designers. The 3-day event will showcase “rack ready” fashions in a fashionable runway experience.
