(New York, NY) – NYC Magician Evan Paquette, aka “Magic Evan,” will perform a motivational magic show called “Abracadabra” on August 13th at Webster Library in Manhattan.

The magic show is geared towards children ages 5 and up. After the show, Evan will facilitate a magic workshop during which he’ll reveal some secrets and explain what books to read to learn more magic. The show begins at 4:00 pm. The entire program will run for approximately 1 hour. Admission is FREE.      

Paquette has earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Theater from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater from Rutgers University. In addition to performing over 200 shows a year at private parties, he uses magic as a tool for teaching literacy and leadership skills in NYC Public Schools.

“If children get hooked on reading at an early age, then there’s no limit to what they can achieve,” says Paquette.
