David Consulting Group Launches Trusted Advisor, Providing Key IT Research and Advice

Aug. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Malvern, PA – David Consulting Group (www.davidconsultinggroup.com), a leading international software development consulting firm, today launched its Trusted Advisor service, aimed at helping IT professionals solve problems via expert research and industry insight. Trusted Advisor addresses the complex concerns IT professionals face, providing easy-to-understand research that guides decision-making and offers a competitive advantage.  

“Trusted Advisor allows us to collaborate with industry partners, identifying widespread issues and areas of interest,” said Mike Harris, President of DCG. “Each month we allocate time and resources to research the member-selected topic. By providing members with the information and analysis they need to do business, we are enabling them to make better decisions, address high-priority challenges, and ultimately save time and money.”

Trusted Advisor is open, free of cost, to all IT professionals managing software development, including CIOs, CFOs and their direct reports. Members of the service are invited to submit questions to the panel; each month, they can vote on the question that they would like to have researched. The question with the most votes is then investigated by DCG’s experienced staff.

A finalized report of the findings, including relevant sources, is made available to members. All reports are 2-5 pages, focused solely on the selected question.

Members of Trusted Advisor are allocated 42 credits per year to participate as they choose:
•   Submitting a question (3 credits)
•   Voting on the monthly report topic (1 credit)
•   Reading a report (2 credits for the first view; subsequent views are free)

Members are also able to request exclusive, discounted custom reports, which are not shared with other members.
