The process of coffee roasting
Roasting is a process to get the best coffee taste has several ways. In this world, there are huge amount of mechanism to roast coffee bean. Some are traditional method that created by the people from long time ago, some are the new mechanism that using a machine. The roasting process has developed from time by time to get the best result of coffee taste. The conventional method to roast coffee is when the coffee bean is placed in the huge drum that always rotating. This drum is heating on the high temperature. The temperature to heat this drum is usually around 450 degrees Celsius. The coffee roasting process using this method will usually take about eight or twelve minutes. This conventional roasting method is adopting the traditional roasting method where the coffee bean is fried on the huge frying pan.
The new roasting process is called with the name fluidized bed roasting. This method is the new mechanism to roast the coffee bean that created to make the greatest taste of coffee. In this method, the coffee bean is placed on the machine that will rotate in a high speed. The hot gas from the below is flowing in the high speed. This new method believed as the best coffee roasting method that can make coffee become very delicious.
