Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- You may deduct the cost of entertaining your guests at home if a business discussion occurs before, after, or during the meal.  Make sure that you document why you are entertaining your business associates.
Keep records showing the date, the business purpose, and the costs relating to the meal.
If both business and non-business guests attend the meal, only deduct costs associated with the business guests.  Keep records that show the total cost for all guests, divide by the total number of guests that were present for the meal, and then multiply cost per guest by the number of business guests.
