Sponsor of Querencia at Barton Creek Announces Plans to Develop New Community in Indianapolis

Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), sponsor of Querencia at Barton Creek, Austin’s premier life care retirement resort, has announced plans to develop The Barrington of Carmel.  This 19-acre life care retirement community is now under development in Indianapolis by Mayflower Communities, an SQLC affiliate working in partnership with St. Vincent Health.  The announcement was made by Charles B. Brewer, president and CEO of SQLC.

SQLC, a Texas-based not-for-profit organization, sponsors and operates four communities in addition to Querencia in Austin:  Edgemere in Dallas, The Buckingham in Houston, The Stayton at Museum Way in Fort Worth, and Mirador in Corpus Christi.  The Barrington of Carmel project will be the company’s first out-of-state development.

“SQLC is very excited to add The Barrington of Carmel to its family of successful life care communities,” said Brewer.  “The vision for The Barrington is completely in line with that of our five Texas communities, and we look forward to bringing the five-star amenities and services for which we are known here to the Carmel community.”
