Aug. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- “Even though we have known for some time that the petition signatures we gathered for the Republican and Conservative parties primary were far in excess of the requirement, I welcome the New York State Board of Elections (BOE) decision.” States Mark Williams, senior advisor to Mr. Gristina’s campaign.  “We were informed by the BOE, that even though Mr. Katz’s Conservative and Independent parties petitions were challenged resulting in the disqualification of a substantial number of signatures, Gristina met the required amounts and thus will be on the ballot.  No specific objections were filed against Mr. Gristina’s Petitions.”

“Its official.  The race is on!”  States Gristina.  “On September 13th, Republicans and Conservative voters from Putnam Valley, Somers, Yorktown, Carmel, Southeast and Patterson will have a choice as to whom they want to represent them in the general election and in Albany.  I have been and will continue to knock on doors, meeting the good people of our district with my message of hope and optimism for better times ahead.”

Mr. Gristina has been a presence throughout the district and is continuing his efforts to personally engage with individuals and families to listen to their views on matters ranging from the state of our local economy, the unsustainable tax burden and other specific situations.

“While only a candidate for office, I am very glad to have already been in a position to serve the people of the district.  Just today I contacted a heating gas distribution company to address allegations of unfair pricing practices for some senior Yorktown residents. Said Gristina.  “Our seniors are under great financial strain as it is.  The last thing they need is to be forced to pay higher prices for their heating gas because their children moved out and their usage is less than what it used to be. Whatever the problem is, I will get to the bottom of it.”  He adds.  “I look forward to continuing my efforts and come September 13th, to be in a position to serve my fellow Republicans and Conservatives as their representative in the general election.”

A conservative republican, Dario Gristina is running in a republican and conservative primary in the 94th NYS Assembly District against incumbent Steve Katz.  For further information, or to schedule an interview with Dario Gristina, please call Mark Williams at 845-216-7554 or email him at mark@friendsofdariogristina.org
