Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Names Jessica St. Charles to Director of Catering & Convention Services

Aug. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO - Jessica St. Charles extends her stay with the Hyatt family in her new role as the director of catering and convention services at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina.  Her responsibilities for the scenic San Diego hotel include management of all operations related to social and corporate events.

“We are excited to welcome Jessica to our team,” said Jeff Pace, general manager of Hyatt Regency Mission Bay.  “She has her finger on the pulse of the latest meeting and special event trends and a track record of creating memorable events.  Now, with our waterfront property as a backdrop, she has a whole new canvas for her signature style.”

A member of the Hyatt family for more than six years, St. Charles started her career with the company at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles as a senior catering manager and most recently served as the associate director of catering.  She was recognized with an Outstanding Production Achievement Award four years in a row and was also named a Manager of the Year.

Prior to working for Hyatt, St. Charles spent 11 years in the marketing arena for the tourism management industry.  Her resume boasts several four- and five-star properties throughout Southern California. St. Charles is also actively involved with organizations such as the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), where she served as the President of the Los Angeles Chapter for four years.

A fan of biking, swimming and volleyball, St. Charles believes San Diego is the ideal place to now call home.
