The event will include breakfast, with Roaster’s coffee, lunch provided by cook teams of the Texas Cattle Feeder’s Association, entertainment by The Chancy Bernson Band, and a huge children’s area sponsored by BSA.
Prior to the walk, kickoff events are being held throughout the week of August 7-14. Northwest Texas Hospital is hosting a Medical Center Kickoff in its lobby from 5-7 pm on August 7th.
A family movie night, featuring Ice Age 4, will be held on August 8th at 6:00 pm.
A family team kickoff will be held at Zach’s Club 54 on August 9th from 6-7:30 pm.
A corporate team event will be held on Tuesday, August 14th at noon at the Plaza Restaurant.

T1D, formerly known as “juvenile diabetes” affects adults and children of all ages. There is no cure for T1D. The onset of T1D does not have anything to do with lifestyle or diet. All proceeds from the event will go to JDRF.
