The International Film Festivals for Peace, Inspiration, and Equality was established to support and promote filmmakers from all over the world and marks the fourth international film festival that Operation Terror has been chosen to participate in to date. This years wide and diverse selection of films chosen to participate in the celebrated and esteemed cinematic annual event will provide audiences with a wide variety of filmed entertainment to chose from .
The main goal of the International Film Festival For Peace Inspiration & Equality is to promote each films distinctive approach to telling stories that deal with peace, inspiration, and equality issues.
"This is a tremendous honor bestowed on OPERATION TERROR because this festival stands for the heart and soul of film," Paul Cross said, "If only I got to go to all the brilliant cities and countries that my films get to travel to. If all my films collected 'air miles' I would be able to travel to Mars then Jupiter and back again to earth". Cross then added, "Films to me are like global ambassadors that mange to break any language barrier and communicate ideals and emotions to all who see them. It doesn't get much better than that."
OPERATION TERROR marks the second feature film that Paul Cross has made on the subject of 9/11. The first was SEVERE VISIBILITY which Cross wrote, directed, produced and starred in and tells the story of a US Army major’s life that hangs in the balance when he discovers evidence that the government’s official version of the Pentagon disaster on September 11, 2001 is a deception. Cross said, "The subject of September 11, 2001 is an extremely volatile issue and must be treated in an honest and truthful manner. I just keep wishing that 9/11 never happened and that SEVERE VISIBILITY and OPERATION TERROR only existed as the result of someone's creative imagination instead of a candid recreation of a horrific event."
