WIPP and NAWBO SF Bay Area Establish Strategic Partnership to Further the Success of Women

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 7, 2012 - Washington, DC, August 7, 2012 – Today Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and the National Association of Women Business Owners in the San Francisco Bay Area (NAWBO SF Bay Area) announced a strategic partnership that will allow both organizations to strengthen their ability to advocate for women business owners and work together to help their members experience successful business growth. Both WIPP and NAWBO SF Bay Area will collaborate on educational programming, events and activities that are of mutual interest and benefit to both organizations and their members.

WIPP is a national nonpartisan public policy organization advocating on behalf of nearly one million women-owned businesses and representing sixty-four business organizations.  WIPP provides timely economic information, identifies important trends, opportunities and legislative information to its membership and partners, and provides a collaborative model for the public and private sectors to increase the economic power of women-owned businesses.

NAWBO SF Bay Area is one of 80 chapters of NAWBO National, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help women business owners achieve successful results in their professional and personal lives. NAWBO SF Bay Area provides vital education and information on topics, trends, issues essential to growing a successful business; opens doors for its members by providing access to decision makers, people of influence, business opportunities and connections with other organizations; empowers women as leaders to influence a new positive culture of business, and uses the collective power of women to create a velocity of forward momentum, both personally and professionally.
